Sequels you'd like to see...

.. or thought would have been made.

I dont know if a thread like this one already exists, but im just curious what sequels people would like to see coming out... or what films they thought would get a sequel but never did (yet).

I always thought they would have made Godzilla 2 seeing there was eggs in the end. I remember really liking this film lol

I'd like to see a Beverly Hills Cop 4 .

Maybe seeing someone like Ben Stiller team up with Eddie Murphy, set between Detroit and Los Angeles this time.
Where cocky, laid back Beverly Hills Cop played by Ben Stiiler has to go to the dangerous areas of Detroit to investigate a criminal gang and teams up Eddie Murphy's Axl Foley character, who's now an FBI agent.

Finding Nemo 2. But a cinema release not straight to DVD

Scooby Doo 3. I know they weren't the greatest films, but I loved the first 2, just like a bigger version of the cartoon.

Ei8ht lol. Murders based on the 8 wonders of the world. or even the prequel 6ix based on the 5 human senses plus the 6th one! Spooky!

Police Academy 8 is apparently in production.
Beverly Hills Cop 4 will be out in 2009.

I'd like to see a new RoboCop movie personally, maybe not a sequel but a reimagining of the franchise ala Batman Begins and make it good again, with an 18 cert and all.

Paddy :D

I'm still waiting for Dog Soldiers : Fresh Meat, also wished they had made some sequels to Judge Dredd, ideally without Stallone, perhaps a re-envisioning like Batman Begins.

Goonies 2 neeRAB to be made. i remember reading a rumour a couple of years back about how there was talk of it going into production. he plot was going to reunite the original characters as their own kiRAB go on a adventure and they have to get together to save them. However, it looks like that plan fell through :-(

i would also love to see a 'proper' sequel to Robocop that discredits the continuity from robocop 2/3 and the TV series cause they werent a patch on the original movie.

Yeah it fell thru - was supposed to be called Goonies Never Say Die. Sean Astin couldn't commit due to his long role in Lord of the Rings and I think Josh Brolin's career was at a high point too!

Whatever happened to Martha Plimpton?

I believe Warner (or whoever owns the rights) are working on a direct to dvd,all CGI Gremlins 3.
It seems the studio wants an easy pay day,so be carefull what you wish for.

I do agree a proper Gremlins 3 would be good though,I mean the character of Gizmo is so iconic little kiRAB even nowadays know who the character is despite even not being born when the Gremlins movies were first screened on TV.
