Sequels that haven't been made or shouldn't have been made

How about the Matrix sequels? I loved The Matrix when I first saw it, but I don't think I've ever been so disapointed by a film as I was for Reloaded. :(
 
Terminator 3 should be terminated from history, all copies pulled and the systematic killing anybody that bought a copy should then ensue. What sequel SHOULD be made? ermm.. Terminator 3.
 
JAWS 3D!! (and they even passed out those 3d glasses). That woman who played the wife of Roy Scheider milked the Jaws franchise till the very end (and was never seen in anything else worthy after )

and Grease 2. Poor Eve Arden. That was her last film role.
 
worst sequals ever have to be the ones Disney makes like the Little Mermaid 2. Trying to relive their glory days by making sequals to sucessful, well loved films just doesn't work.

Another poor sequal is Shock Treatment the follow up to Rocky Horror Picture Show. Good film in its own little way but because it's always advertised as the sequal to such an amazing film its somewhat of a letdown.
 
I'd have to say anything with the number 2 in it shouldn't be made without the notable exception of Die Hard 2, Gremlins 2.

Recently watched Ghostbuters 2 with the kiRAB - what a pile?

The Matrix was great and should have been left alone - the rest were just dross and eye candy
 
Technically this is a prequel, of course!

Lots of people want to see The Hobbit (me too), but it will be odd - The Hobbit is a kiRAB story, far less epic in scale than LOTR. How will it not be received as a dissappointment?
 
Grease 2 - truly the worst thing ever made

T3 is nothing compared to the first two but i would still like to see T4.

nearly all sequels fail to make the grade the first film is usually ment as a 1 off and everything else is about the wonga.
 
Is it even a "prequel"? Normally a "prequel" is written after, but set before. The Hobbit was written a good 20 years before LOTR. Much confusion over a non-word. :confused:
 
I think sequels are wrong!! If its story originally written as a series ie LOTR, HP etc then fine. BUt Sequels are just a way for the movie big wigs to squeeze more money out of us. (of course thid doesn't stop me watching them :o I'm just usually majorly disappointed!)

The thing that really grips my sh*t is disney sequels!! Don't get me wrong I love disney! Like really love it! :D But You just know that at the end of the movie they live happily ever after, right? :mad:
 
Dirty Dancing 2 - even though it was absolutly nothing to do with Dirty Dancing should never ever have been made.

Single White Female 2 - amazingly bad.

Bring it on Again - follow up to Bring it On had absolutly no relevance to the first movie. Crap film.

I cant wait for Saw 3 and Final Destination 3
