Separated & wife has BEV acct, can I go in as new customer?

Ok, I have been separated for over a year, last month we officially took my name off the BEV account and had hers put on (they did not charge for transferring receivers to her).

So the question is can I goto BEV as a new customer or should I get the girlfriend to put under her name?

You should be a new customer, you will be opening a new account after all. I can't see them turning business away.
 
You could be considered a "new client" 6 months after the account has been changed name or closed
