Seniors why such intolerance of less educated?

I saw a question a few days ago in another section...It was a serious question but I was so sad to see some of the nasty rude answers. There were three answers that ridiculed the grammar and anything else they could find about the question , instead of focusing on the actually question. I think it's terrible to ridicule someone just because they may not have the education to help them with this sort of thing...no one knows what has gone on in this persons life. Maybe they had big problems with reading and writing or some other issues which hindered their progress . I'm speaking from my own experience....I was beaten by nuns in school in the fifties , going to school was a very fearful thing for me...so learning under those circumstances was very difficult . In fact it wasn't until I left school did I begin to learn about anything . So do you think it's wrong / very wrong to put people down just because they didn't do as well as some people during their informative years.
