Hey

so today i wanted to try sending a video with my 6700 through mms...everytime i try to send on it say wrong file format....now i know that it is the right format....does anyone know how to fix this

Well first off, a general question.. Is crickets MMS even able to support video? I've never had a phone that could record or play video before, so I don't know the answer to this question.

I know for a fact that my 6265i can record video and send it. nothing longer than 15 seconRAB can be sent. I had a remix set up with 225 secs of recordable video but it would not send anything that long. No prob. sending 15 secs even to verizon and cingular

I'll bet your registry is missing a line somewhere which allows to to send WMV or MPEGS (whichever it is tat you're trying to send.)

Are you using the default MMS that comes with the phone? I'll check my registry and see if I can find anything... if you are.

I looked at the file you sent me a couple nights ago and couldn't see anything that stood out.. but I don't know how to compare them line by line... anyone know how?

look under

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI]

and make sure you have these settings correct

"AudioFilter"=".midi;.mid;.amr;.wav;.mp3;.rmi;.qcp;"
"FilterForGenericObjPickerHide"=".exe;.bat;.dll;"
"FilterForGenericObjPickerShow"=".m4a;.pdf;.txt;.mp4;"
"ImageFilter"=".jpeg;.jpg;.gif;.png;.bmp;.wbmp;"
"IsSupportDrm"=dword:00000001
"MediaPlayerSupportFilter"=".mp3;.wma;.wmv;.asf;.mp4;"
"VideoFilter"=".mp4;.3gp;.3g2;.svg;.svgz;"
"WarningForFileExtension"=".mp3;.wma;.wmv;.asf;"

theses have the extensions that arcsoft does support if your trying to send an mp4 and you dont have mp4 listed in thouse settings arcsoft will deny it
