Sending themes to a 6682 via Text Messages: Possible?

The title says it all... Anyone know if it is possible to send themes to a 6682 via text messaging?

I am on cingular, I can send text messages via [email protected], but when I send an email with the .sis file attached, when I receive the text there is no attachment there at all...


Any help would be great!
 
Wrong. An SMS can only contain texts. However, they can contain a link to download the other stuff. You can send other files through MMS, however.

Also, Cingular's MMS filter removes anything other than pictures, audio, and video. And if you're sending it to a non-cingular handset, it'll remove nearly anything.

What you CAN do, is 1. transfer the theme to your memory card from your computer or 2. setup your Gmail to receive it on your 6682. That's what I have setup and I just email myself the theme and then install it from the inbox.
 
ah yes, mms. my bad, sorry.

the gmail solution i have used, but i don't have unlimited net usage so it's like a penny a kb, can add up quick. guess thats the price i have to pay, lol.

the problem is my work computer won't let me access my phone through usb and when i get bored at work i like look for themes...
