Sending a Pix from Verizon Wireless to Nextel

Can anyone tell me how I can send a saved pictured on my Chocolate phone to a subscriber on Nextel? I've been getting a error message back that the number is invalid and I know that it's valid. TYIA.
 
Call customer service and they will help you or it might be the other persons phone cause i had the same problem. When my friends with AT&T tried to text me it said that but i called customer service and they fixed it.
 
I just called customer service and the person I spoke to clearly doesn't know what in the hell they are talking about. He claims that users cannot text or send pictures, audio or video outside of the network because the two are incompatible, Verizon Wireless is CDMA and Nextel is iDEN which is partly true Nextel does use iDEN but they also use CDMA technology. I am totally stumped on what to do next.
