Selling Verizon phones

Hi,

If I were to receive some phones for free from Verizon by buying another phone, can I sell the phones to other people? The website says "receive xxx free with 2 year activation per phone." Will the person buying my phone be able to activate it straight from the box? Thanks.
 
You'll probably have to activate them first, then you can sell them. However, you'll still be paying for the service. I assume you have other phones you would activate on the other line(s).
