i have a 2, 2 positive feedbacks, no negative

i have a friend with 50 positive, no negative, and i was going to give him 10% (thats including fees, shipping, ebay fees, etc)



which route should i go?
 
Yes rating does matter. Beacuse people are putting so much money into this purchase they want to know that the people that they are dealing with are legit and have a proven trackrecord. So you'll lose some money if you dont let your friend list it for you. But see if he'll list it for free.. he's your buddy
 
All in the presentation. Have tons of pictures of everything showing you have it and give them an email to contact you on. If someone contacts you, give them a number to call you on and you will sell it without any problems.

The only difference between your 2 and his 50+ is he can have a "buy it now" and a 3 day bid time. That's it. And you get that feature when you have more then 15 positive feedbacks.
 
If you think about it... people are looking to spend major bucks on ebay. THey are going to want someone who have a proven track record of all their dealings and knows what they are doing. If i were buying one on ebay i wouldnt buy from someone who has low rating, it's all a trust thing. Or atleast i dont believe you will not get as much money from low rating vs someone who has a higher rating.
