Selling junker car, how do I avoid new buyers calling after sale to complain or

ask for money back? I'm selling an old work truck tomorrow. I was approached about selling it just out of the blue, and since it doesn't run anymore I agreed to a low price (under 300). The truck has had a lot of work done, but we've bought a new one so we just didn't fix it the last time it broke down.

I told the people that it doesn't start, and they still wanted to buy it. So I wrote up a bill of sale saying: Vehicle is being sold as-is, with no warranties.

The couple doesn't speak very good English so I'm a little worried they'll call me back claiming I took advantage of them, which I'm not, I told them what I think is wrong with the car (but I'm not a mechanic so I don't know for sure). Is there anything else I should do to or write on the bill of sale to insure they can't come back and try to sue me if something else is wrong other than what I told them I knew about (or assumed was wrong with it)?
I can't really get around selling it at my house since the truck doesn't run...and they are bringing a trailer to pick it up.

Also, should I put something on the form indicating that I don't know what's wrong with the car?
 
Write on the bill of sale: "NO MONEY BACK." Then have them sign right at that spot, and ask them if they understand.

If they call you back and bitch, hang up on them. Eventually they'll get the point.

Also, it would probably be better if you didn't sell this truck at your home - you don't need them attempting to personally "exchange" it some night for something else.
 
well for $300 and you said as is, then its sold as is no guarantees etc... they have to deal with it if they change their minds
