SELLING A PS3 PICTURE: Will it work?

isnt there a law that was made specifically to prevent misleading stuff like this? basically if a mortgage company really wanted to screw you, they could put "your apr will go up 2000% after the first payment" in fine print somewhere and most people wouldn't notice it in the 50 pages of paperwork they have to sign. if the buyer takes you to court, you'll probably have to give the money back

ROFLOL, Told you seller was going to get FUCKED.

by you saying "all i did was mention in the description....." you just said your title was misleading, because it doesn't say picture in the title.

the 3 others, plus the one abovce are the only "picture" auctions...

Just sent a message to the buyer telling him not to pay. I can't beleive this guy. It's people like him that screw it up. Way to set the example.

feedback on the one is great
"SCAM ask to pick up item and then told me the ps3 i won was no longer available"

was too scared to do it in person since he'd get his ass beat

To you.
Regardless, It does not matter. Ebay will side with the buyer 100% of the time. This is not the first time this type of auction has taken place. It was primarly started with PS2.

For those that missed it this is this guys SCAM eBay auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140061198455&rd=1&rd=1

Make sure to keep note of his username, maybe send him a message and flood his inbox.

ok, so i get paid, guy gets fucked because he didnt read the fine print, i send him a photo, he contacts ebay, cries because he is pussyhurt, then what? ebay police come and take my money? if i send him the item he won, there is nothing he can do

Just spoke to the seller through eBay this is what he said to the buyer:

"I am going to use this opportunity to teach you a lesson
regarding ebay. I myself have been scammed a few times, and
rather than become bitter and take it out on others, I have
decided to do the opposite. I am sorry to tell you but you won
the auction of a PS3 picture. If you refer to the bottom of the
large text area, you will see the disclaimer I posted. Since this
was inside the description, I am well within my rights to take the
amount you bid but I am not going to. Next time you should
read the description in full and make sure what you think or
want the auction to be is actually a reality. If I was anyone else in
the US, I could have taken your money and ran, but this seems
not only wrong but flat out mean. I encourage that you send me
your comments about the situation."

How sweet of him Theres no way way he put that auction up with the intention of teaching someone a lesson hes paying fees to put the auction up and fees when it sells. He tried to redeem himself by sending the buyer the above message and make him look like the good guy.
