Selling 17" car wheels on Craigslist, should I let buyer come to my apartment or meet...

...sumwhere in public place? Ive been selling on ebay for years, however this would be my first time selling something on Craigslist (due to the size of the item--17" wheels). There is a person interested in looking at the wheels, but Im not sure if I should let him come to my apartment, although I would have them outside my door by the time he gets here, or if I should just load them in my car and meet like in a parking lot of a shopping center.

I live alone at my apartment and wouldn't be able to have someone with me during the visit from the prospective buyer. Its not like he really seems shady or anything, but there is always a risk. What should I do??
 
i do this ALLLL the time: sit them outside of ur door and let them pick it up while ur not home u can be at work or the mall or grocery shopping whatever but then there really isnt a risk:) hope it helps
