Sell upgrade phone, include the sim?

So to my surprise, one of my lines are eligible, for discount upgrades! Yay.

I want to order something like a refurb BB curve for $30 plus upgrade fee, and then sell it on ebay, to make a little $$$.

I can do this, correct?

Also, I have another line I just added, and got a refurb N75. However, I'm actually replacing the N75 on that line next week with an iPhone.

So I'm going to sell the N75 too. That ok yes? The N75 will have an inactivated sim in it then, should I include that when I sell, or take it out?

However, there is nothing wrong with what I'm doing correct? People must do this regularly? I mean it's like I'm committing to the contract, so I earn the discounted phone, so I have the right to sell it, since not going to use it?

People do it all the time, you're commiting to a new contract, whatever you decide to do with that phone is your business, so it's ok....
however, if you need a new phone within the two year time frame you will be stuck paying full price for a new handset.
 
Right. Thanks so much. We'll probably always be using iPhones, so I have to pay full price anyway, so it doesn't bother me. :) It sure makes them more affordable too. ha-ha. :)
