Self inflicted wound?

In the military there is a law that forbids a service man from injurying himself just to get out of his duty. Now I know that the punishment is up to 5 years in prision and a dishonerable discharge, I just cannot remember the specific name for that type of offence. Can any one tell me what it is called?
Let me request something from any one who decides to answer on here. Don't be a smart ass. If you don't know, don't answer. If you do not understand the question let me know and I'll try to clear it up for you.

Thanks for your answer Chris but I am afraid that you are wrong. Maligering is feiinting sickness or injury to either get out of duty or to try to get disablity. What I am looking for involved delibertly injuring yoursel.
