I'd say I'm socially left of center and I could teach the concepts behind every one of those questions

Im sure they went to harvard to get their liberals...and by harvard i mean a bus stop in Oakland

It doesn't matter

there are plenty of Democrats who are socially conservative, plenty of Republicans who are socially liberal.

The real problem with economic spending is when the same party has both the white house, and congressional control.

both republican = bad, both democrat = bad. It's like giving a teenager an AMEX card to go shopping.

Not really.

Do they exist? Sure. There are always outliers in any population.

It doesn't even matter. Neither party gives a fuck about fiscal conservatism any more. The options are "spend and spend" or "tax and spend." Somehow a large portion of the Republican base has been hoodwinked into the believing the former is both fiscally conservative and responsible.

where in my statement did i refer to the actions of presidents? Of course Bush used his neocon influences and big govt spending to increase the national debt. i'm speaking from a strictly philosophical standpoint, not a political one.

Take this shit back to DIAC so I can ignore it along with all the other Republican faggotry on this forum.

i will say though, in terms of actions, republicans have been doing a horrid job in terms of the economy. Spending while cutting taxes is a recipe for massive debt. couple that with warfare spending, it puts us into a bad situation.

half of those questions are still debated today by actual economists (aka people who know more about the subject than you)
