Another show from the spring lineup that I am really looking forward to. It's by I.G., the guys who did GitS S.A.C. and Blood+. The animation looks amazing. It's based on a series of novels by Uehashim Nahoko called The Guardian Series.

Awesome preview.

Wow, that was some pretty sweet animation. I think this will turn out good because it's in the hanRAB of Production I.G. That female character also sort of reminded me of Motoko just with a different hairstyle. I'm looking for a good action series and hopefully this will fill that slot.

EDIT: Apparently there is a longer and more interesting trailer on the official website.

The first episode has been subbed by A-Kraze. I'm at school right now, so I'll be downloading it when I get home.

A pretty average start, but I see potential. It's a bit too serious as well. Nevertheless, I will keep watching it until it starts to bore me.

L'Arc~en~Ciel does the opening song... That's all I know -__-; Anyone have a basic summary?
From the opening only, it seems like a lighter non-historical Otogizoushi.

I'll try my best to explain without spoiling anything since I can't find a summary anywhere.

One day Balsa, a spear-wielding female and renowned bodyguard for hire, is traveling through a town when she encounters a person in need of help. The person enRAB up being royalty. A prince, to be precise. As compensation for the help, she is rewarded with gold and a night at a palace. However, the night is young, and she soon must accept another "reward."

Err, hope that was good. I tried to cut back on details as much as I could.

I don't know if you have seen past episode 15 yet but you'll find out the answer if you do. I actually didn't catch that part until they mentioned it later. It looked like he was exhausted to me also.

Ive been watching it. I got to admit, I was a little bored with the first episode and doubting this series, but episodes 2 and 3 were really great. Im sticking with it.

Episode 19 Master Shuga's troupe has finally gotten to Toumei village and have caught up with Balsa's group but Balsa went after Chagum who tried to go back to court by himself. They've decided to head out to Hunter's Cave where they can plan an alternative where they can protect the egg and the bearer.

Well overall I prefer this kind of animation and the fighting/action sequences very good. The story seems to have depth so I'm hoping it becomes more and more interesting.

I've been watching it, i like this series a lot. It helps that the releases are higher quality - the usage of a darker color palette and deeper shadows give's it more of a cinematic anime feel. I like the pace of it and the character development gives the series as a whole more of a "complete" feel despite the lack of any major action sequences other than in the beginning.

The unsubbed raw 20 and 21 files have been out for awhile now. I wonder how it takes to sub animes? I guess the only thing we can do is wait...
