I’m writing a series of stories about a superhero. I’ve come up with the names for all the characters but I think they might actually suck and I need some opinions.
The Hero:
Shadow- Controls Dark Matter.
The Villains:
First Story
Wisp- Controls dark matter, Bat shit insane, Power mad, arch enemy, hated by everyone hero and villain alike.
Firebomb- Fire power, God Complex, leads an organization that does experiments on humans with dark matter which gives his minions and the hero and the hero’s nemesis their powers.
Deepfreeze- Ice power, Firebomb’s bodyguard, regrets the bad things he’s done.
Flamethrower- Fire power, Firebombs bodyguard.
Wrecking Ball/Bulldozer- Super Strong, incredibly large and muscular, super endurance, Firebomb’s minion, later defects and joins Needlefinger’s cult
Botanist- Plant powers, works for Firebomb.
Second Story
Mortar- Mercenary, highly athletic, has an outfit infused with dark matter, and an arsenal of weapons infused with dark matter, favorite is a pair of machetes, former partner of Firebomb, now leads an organization of mercenaries.
Sparkthorn/Thunderstpike- wears an outfit with hundreds of deadly spikes that generate lethal doses of electricity, works for Mortar
Seismic- Has an outfit that lets him create earthquakes just by stomping on or punching the ground, can also generate shockwaves by slamming his fists together, works for Mortar.
Insect- wears an outfit that allows for flight, strength - can lift 3 times his body weight, has an arsenal of throwing knives, outfit also has guns that shoot various toxic chemicals and neurotoxins, works for Mortar.
Name Undecided- a large super strong robot created by Mortar, has lasers and missiles and stuff
Third Story
Azrael/Kira- Death entity, gains the abilities of anyone who dies, made of dark matter, god complex, can possess people, seeks the death of both Shadow and Wisp so he can rule or destroy the world, most dangerous villain.
Needlefinger- Dangerously sharp metal nails that can cut just about any character in the series except Azrael, emo, deadly assassin, leads a cult for Azrael.
Dragon woman/dragon lady- Possesses a scale that lets her transform into a dark matter dragon, member of Needlefinger’s cult.
Garuda- the series birdman, doesn’t seem like much I know, but has unbelievable strength, member of Needlefinger’s cult.
Name undecided- a statue that Azrael constantly brings to life, super strong when alive.
Recurring Element:
Dark Matter- refered to as the Element of Death, anyone who controls it has enhanced endurance, super strength, super speed, flight, wolverine’s healing abilities, is highly athletic, and can mold the dark matter into just about any object they desire like melee weapons, projectiles, etc. Side effects include a dark aura that emanates from you that can be turned on and off, going mad with power(Wisp), a god complex (Wisp). Consult your doctor before getting your body infused with it, abilities do not apply to those who are just made of it you have to be able control it too (Azrael).
