Seed Of Chucky Possible Candidate for worst movie of the year?

I went to see "Seed Of Chucky" this afternoon & i have to say what aload of Crap.The storyline & script are that messed up that some of the people in the Cinema were laughing at the murder scenes or laughing at lines that were meant to be serious.Also something which i had never seen before happen but 4 people got up at different times & left the cinema during the movie.In a way i wish i also had walked up & left.

Don't get me wrong i wasn't expecting to be blown away by this movie but at the same time i wasn't expecting it to be that bad.

Just wondering what others think?
 
Hi, I thought it wasn't that great also watchable but nothing brilliant..there more like comedies now mind you none of em have been that great, except number one, which is or was banned, must get hold of that dvd one day. :D
 
I'm getting confused myself now lol! Sure it was the third one, oh well.

As for Seed of Chucky, it will be a movie I wait till rental. Anything with Jennifer Tilly/her voice is worth watching at least once, is she in the movie much?
 
Hi :) think it was banned because of the bulger thing, am not sure myself, but I coulda swore that it was, I remember reading it all over the papers, think it's slowly coming back onto the shelves now tho, noticed it's up on amazon to buy, I'll prob get it, Jennifer tilly is in this movie alot, she plays a major role in it, quite good she is to!
 
No Child's Play movies are or were ever BANNED in the UK. CERTAIN stores removed Child's Play 3 copies from their shelves after "The Daily Mirror" stupidly and carelessly associated it with the Bulger killing but that's about it. :yawn:

Some female child psychologist linked Child's Play 3 with the murder because it was amongst the video nasties in the boy’s home at the time and obviously didn't have a liking for the title, which begins by no surprise to anybody at all with the word CHILD. The Daily Mirror then printed her absurd analysis in their paper. :sleep:

It was proven months later that the boy's who committed the murder had infact not even SEEN THE MOVIE So all that stupid paper & child psychologist did in the long run was make Child's Play 3 incredibly popular in the UK which it was not before they printed their ridiculous article, the movie tanked both in the US & UK upon it's original theatrical release. :rolleyes:

"The first four Child's Play movies are available to buy anywhere in the UK that sell a large variety of DVD movies". :D

Child's Play (GREAT), Child's Play 2 (NEAR ENOUGH JUST AS GOOD), Child's Play 3 (COMPLETE RUBBISH), Bride of Chucky (BETTER), Seed of Chucky (EVEN WORSE THEN THE 3RD ONE!)
 
We had this discussion not so long back - you'd be amazed at how people refuse to believe that it was never actually banned! :rolleyes: Anyway - back OT - Seed of Chucky is a big heaping pile of s**te: glad we all agree!
 
I LOVED this film! It's very obviously tounge in cheek horror, not teen-horror-shite. An awful lot of the dialog is actually mocking the film, or the producers, or the stars... A suspect a lot of people simply won't "get" this one.
