An estate had seven houses;
Each house had seven cats;
Each cat ate seven mice;
Each mouse ate seven grains of wheat.
Wheat grains, mice, cats and houses,
how many were there on the estate?

7 houses
49 cats
343 mice
2401 grains

in other ways,
there were only 7 houses and 49 cats because everything else waz eaten up..
but usually the population is counted in that case 0!

An estate had 7 houses = 7 houses
Each house had seven cats. So 7x7 = 49 cats.
Each cat ate 7 mice - 49 x 7 = 343 mice
Each mouse ate seven grains of wheat = 343 x 7 = 2401

Add em up: 2800.
But in a way only 56, because the mice and wheat are all gone...
