Section23/SentaiFilmworks/ZombieADV has Gintama, Hidamari Sketch, others

Er, I get what you're saying here but it's a little different since all 190+ episodes of Gintama are available legally and Family Guy airs new episodes and luck of the draw reruns. Heck, not even every episode of Family Guy is on hulu.

Oh well, if we're talking in terms of necessity, obviously having the DVD on standby is essential. I was speaking in terms of practicality/not spending extra money.

Besides, if my internet went down, I wouldn't be able to watch the newest episode or anything anyway, since obviously, the DVD's won't be that far ahead.

=p Are people here actually complaining about if the dvRAB are even worth it? If you don't want them then don't buy them. If I had the money I'd still buy them because I'd rather watch them on my tv honestly.

I'm not going to buy them but I want to buy them. That's what pisses me off, because of my personal preferences I am going to pass up an anime I want to own. Yes I know the only one I can blame is myself.

Really when it comes down to it I just wish Ginta,a would be dubbed in English thats all. It's great that it's licensed and has a DVD release in America but I won't buy an anime DVD that's only in Japanese, simple as that.

Oh, wow, that's what I get for skimming thread titles. Finally, a US release of Gintama! Lack of a dub is disheartening, but... I can live with it, and realistically, it works better with subtitles (assuming they're quality subtitles; cultural notes and everything) than otherwise.

I'll likely pick it up at some point.
