My passengers tell me short rides aren't bad on my 748 which I think is slightly softer than the 848/1098. I take the S4rs our if I have passengers. Much softer which is surprising since it is a stock Ducati seat (which translates to wood covered in vinyl).

Thanks for responding everyone! I don't expect to go for long rides with my wife but even going down the street she will complain. I just didn't know if it's just her or what. I use to go for long rides with her on my Gixers and never heard a beep so just wanted everyone's feedback. PLEASE KEEP THE POSTS COMING.

I always owned Ducatis, so no complain of whatsoever from 2nd passenger... Just a reminder, the seat won't be comfortable as a car. Can't compare comfort of a Mercedes-Benz to Ferrari. Ducati, Ferrari, and other high performance transport belongs at race-track and racing. If you want speed and want to be fast, compromise is must.
