Sebacious Cyst

I am scheduled to have a sebacious cyst removed from my groin area with a local anastheic on July 20. I had to have this same cyst lanced about 2 months ago and I have to say that the freezing needle hurt like hell. Not sure if I can handle this again, anything I can ask for to help with this. I do have anxiety disorder as well, I was thinking that my lorazapam might help me deal with that a little better. Any ideas.....
 
Local anesthetics always burn like that and there is not much that they can do. the doc could use something to stop the pain of the needle going in but not the burning of the actually drug. The price we pay for numbness.

So take your lorazepam if you think it will help you relax but tell the doc you took it.
