I believe this exercise is performed in the Frontal Plane on a Vertical Axis correct me if I'm wrong. But what is the joint action in the shoulder in the lifting and lowering phase? In the lifting phase is it Extension of the shoulder or Abduction of the shoulder? And in the Lowering phase is it Adduction of the shoulder or flexion of the elbow?
