searching for Utilities

New member
New TX owner.
Tried Freeware Palm - but it does not have a site search.
Looking for
1. a utility to repalce the magnifying glass with Home - I have heard of this, but not sure where.
2. Some kind of utility that makes finding the Volume control easier to find.
3. updating the calendar with 2006 holidays.

I have a Launcher (launcherX?) from my old Zire 71 days - wonder if it will work on the TX?

Any others I need- or want?

For the first utility, you're looking for SharkTXFix. Here's a thread from 1SRC:

For the second, you could try using a DA launcher and VolumeDA. Search PalmGear for "DA Launcher 5.0" and "VolumeDA" and you should be able to find both; they are freeware, too. (But isn't the volume control on your status bar?)

LauncherX should work on the TX. Read this thread, though; some problems have been reported.
