Book 1: Is about a society of people i think they control some sort of magic, but there is a rogue charactor that hides in a book. They have the ability to jump from book to book. And story plays out IN the book. (I may have some of the story line mixed up as a friend told me about the book.
Book 2: The main character is the only remaining character. I remember its a guy, and If I recall his employment has to do with mining. ( I may be wrong) Either people know hes a vamp or it has to be kept a secret along with his thirst (ofcourse) I dont recall much else. (Again friend told me about this book as well, but I have no way to contact said friend as he was a co worker and he no longer works at the same place. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!)
