SE w810i or Samsung z560?

Should I get the w810i which is available now...or wait for the Samsung z560?

I have my reservations about the SE just because I've never used one before but I have had my eye on this one ever since it's been announced. My upgrade was due a few months back but I held off of getting the w800i because I wasn't keen on the joystick function, but now with the d-pad I could be persuaded...not to mention the fact that I have loads of pro duo cards about as I own a psp and sony vaio (I seem to be the poster girl for all things sony these days)

Should I wait for the release of the Samsung z560 (which has all the features I'm after - 2mp camera, mp3, card slot, as does the w810i and I've used Samsungs before and they've never let me down) but not due for release until 2nd qtr which I know we've just approached now but knowing Samsung it won't be til end of the 2nd qtr. Also think I read that it may be exclusive to Vodafone UK (anyone clarify?) in which case I'd have to try and get my hands on it sim-free (and shelling out a good few hundred pounds - which I MIGHT be willing to do for this phone) I love the design of the z560 even though it's being mainly aimed at business people and the greatest selling factor is the HSDPA.

Suppose I could see what upgrade deal they give me first on the w810i...one of the customer service advisors told me I'd get it free in which case there'd be no harm in getting it (could always sell it if I don't get on with it). Though IF o2 are releasing the Samsung z560 then it might be wise for me to wait until then to upgrade...but it's early days yet...don't think anyone knows.

What do you guys think??
 
Had a look at the D600 but I don't like where the camera is placed on that one (think it would have been better had it been on the inside of the slide like the D500). Think I'd like a different design from my current handset, actually think I might go with the w810i and then see what the z560 is like when it's released...
 
I am thinking I would like to have a z560 as well. My w900i is getting to be just to big, and I do not need all those features anyway. I want a thin flip phone, and not a crappy moto razor. I would even consider a d810, but I would like the 2mp camera and memory card on my phone. Sure hope it comes out like in a week for so.
 
get the W810i, u wont be disapointed, cameras on SE phones are way better then anyother, an the mp3 playback is great too. hopefully ull get the hang of the UI.
 
I would get a w810i, but I really miss a flip phone with the keypad not so crammed together. I know I am loosing a lot of great features, but I have come to realize lately all the features I love, I really never use. When I first got my w900i I was converting videos and themes left and right. Now, I have not touched those areas in over a month, and just realized how much I really missed flipping a phone closed to end a call, and how much I miss having a lighter weight phone.
 
Yeah, I had a look at the z510 in a store the other day (which has similar dimensions of a z560) and though it is a very nice phone...I was extremely impressed with the camera considering it's a 1.3 mp, it's a lot better than the camera on my D500. I do like flip designs, my only concern is that it'll be top heavy (when open) if that makes sense. Don't think I'll be able to text one handed with it...might end up getting thumb cramp cos it's quite wide! I'm still trying to decide though...
 
mm.. i personally like the w810i alot more than the z510. something about this new version of the candy bar style. but i totally agree the liking of the flipphone too. mmm.. i don't think it'll be too heavy. you can still do the one hand opening style with practice
 
Ah yes the one-handed opening style...I had an E700 few years back...and if I didn't open it one handed I usually used my mouth to flip open the phone. That was when my other hand was full.
 
I don't know what to do now...o2 are messing me about with the w810i availability, so tempted to wait and get the z560 sim free or something just in retaliation to the w810i (I seem to have associated w810i with bad and annoying feelings even though I know it's not the w810is fault )
 
I have searched and searched and cannot find any hint of when this phone will be released. The only thing I can find is 2nd qtr of 2006, and no one is saying anything about it otherwise. I really want this phone to replace my w900i. What sucks is my w900i is showing signs of use day by day and decreasing the value day by day until the z560 comes out.
