SE K800i or W900i

tough call...
both are kinda nice...

if you like music... go with w900
if you like photos... go with k800

i vote for k800.. just cause it's newer and camera technology is more expensive than a glorified swiveling mp3 player
 
i dislike the design of the k800. i say go for the w900

w900: swivel, 2mp camera, 30fps video recording and playback, 500mb onboard memory and up to 4gbs expandable memory (8gbs soon)

k800: candybar (eww...), 3mp camera, bluetooth stereo headset capability, very little onboard memory and memstick micro only available up to 1gb i believe.

w900 is better in my opinion...
 
i'd get the w900.. even though i have a k800i i'd rather have a w900. its more rare now.. and its a good phone.. good video capabilities unlilke the k800. u get alot more attention wit the w900
 
keep em coming ive been hearing some bad things about the w900 like one guy said it crashed on him twice, its kind of slow, and no PLAY button on a walkman fone ahaha
 
with that said i bet your mind is made up and will most likely get the k800i....

I take it you are mainly in an area with 1900 band and not have to worry about the only 850 being used.
 
uh... my w900 has never crashed on me... and i dont know what play button you are taking about but if you look at a pic of the phone youll notice a nice big middle button with play/pause on it... and it has a Walkman button on the side to start up the Walkman player...
 
omg... ok look i OWN a w900 and YES it has a walkman button on the left side of the phone! and yes the w900 is big when you flip it out but you never have to do that unless your txt messaging someone or typing in a #. everyone i call is in my phonebook so i never even flip it out. and the k800 is also big...

has better screen
better music quality (cleaner and clearer IMO)
better keypad
better UI
better camera for photos
better flash

w900i
more internal memory
cheaper and bigger external memory
unique look and form factor
better music application
better video recording

i prefer the k800i myself at this moment
 
yeah its kinda hard to choose but i have chose the k800 over the w900 which im selling to my friend. they have have mp3 player its just the k800 doesnt have megabass, both can watch videos at 30fps. so its good. i dont do video recordings so i dont mind that with the k800 and also the camera is better on it. so i choose the k800 hopefully i get it tomorrow.
 
Why not the k790i? Unless you travel to Europe frequently the 3G band on the k800 is of no use to you. Just curious. I thought that was the only difference, and I would think the k790i would be cheaper.
