SE k550i vs Samsung D900

I've been eyeing SE k550i Pearl White version and Samsung D900 for quite awhile. K550i is a tad cheaper but not enough to make much of a difference, so I'm not taking price into consideration. From browsing in the forums the main problems of k550i is that the bad antenna placement, d900 cheap plasticky case and easily cracked inner screen. What attracts me to phones are good user interface, customization, multimedia function, and sturdiness. I can only afford one phone every few years so I really do need an all around performer. Thanks for your opinions!
 
Have you thought about trying them for yourself? Do you know anyone that has one, or get a sales assistant to give you a live demo instore
 
unfortunately i'm not in an area where i can test-drive the phones so all i have to go by are the reviews and specs.
 
its really up to you. d900 may have a slightly better camera on paper, but it may not be much better at all.

u want slim, go for the d900, you want sexy white and great UI go with the sony.

I'm in the same situation. Can anyone comment on the music quality on the D900?? I know on the k550 it's quite good. Also, are the playlists limited to 30 songs like the D600? What about the quality through stereo bluetooth headset?? (I think all these points would be of interest to the OP too)
