SE Fatshotz

Are these new? I searched the forums and found no reference to them....

Wanted to read and see what others thought of them. Same performance as any other SE pipe?

Just saw them on the HD website myself. I'm looking for some replacement slip-ons for my new 09 Electraglide Classic.

The "Fatshotz" listed in the 2010 Harley catalog are manufactured by Supertrapp and are a variation of the Supertrapp "Fat Shots".They differ by baffle design and the SE Fatshotz have a different end cap with security bolts as the disks are not designed to be changed. The Supertrapp Fat Shots will give you much more flexibility.

Interesting input. I was just looking at the SE Fatshotz yesterday. Is it difficult to bypass the security bolts?

Talking to the parts guy at my local dealer he thought that they would be just as adjustable as the Supertrapp version. He thought that the SE versions were likely just rebranded Supertrapps.

Have you had an opportunity to dyno a bike with the SE's?

It is possible to remove the security bolts on the SE Fatshotz with the right bit and some effort, but note this muffler has a very different core which because it is a EPA compliant design is a compromise for performance, sound and tunability compared to the actual Supertrapp Fat Shots which were designed as a completely tunable muffler.

just one security torx bit. real easy.

I like them, as i wanted a 50 state legal pipe, and didn't want loud either.

I may be sacrificing some performance, but I got the rest of your kit Jamie (pcV and AC), and am quite happy with the performance increase i did get. Don't know what map you sent me, but it'll be interesting to compare this one to the map you do when you get around to these pipes.

Right now I'm running with 6 discs in each side, they came with 10.
