SE Compensator Review (A bit lengthy)

If you look at my pictures in my profile youll see pictures of stuff that I took because I didnt see these type of views before. I am enjoying the SE compensator along with redline oil in primary and shockproof in tranny
 
Last Sept. I had my primary disassembled to replace a tranny mainshaft bearing in warranty, and the opportunity was there to replace the comp at that time. These were backordered everywhere yet my dealer had one in stock, so I knew that it was a sign from God that I should purchase it. I did and the results were positive, although I really had no major complaints about the stock comp. It did have the characteristic starter "bang," but that never bothered me and I got used to it. The SE comp does make the tranny "shift like butter," in the words of my tech, and shift clunking is less apparent. I'm glad I made the upgrade but probably wouldn't do again it if I had to pay labor on top the $250 part cost, although I would probably DIY anyway.
 
I liked it. Thought the primary way was harder so did the grinding,that was easy too except cleaning the grinds sucked.If i did it again id do the bolts!

when it does make noise its easier on the ears imho,seems to make a couple rattles now and then when the engine is cold.anyway nice write-up.
 
part number help? i want to order from lshd1 since they have free shipping right now. i have a 2010 flhtk, think its the same part number for the 103?
