SE Comp and 49T done

Did you buy that Counter Bore tool and if so was it needed. I am sure it is if they sell it Guess I am just trying to see what it was used for with the install

I didn't buy the tool, jag1886 here on the forum bought the tool, used it once and sent it to me on the pay it forward principle. If you go that route, I'll send you the tool

Sounds good. I am thinking of ordering the sprocket tonight. I will deal with the end results when they come mainly the Cruise and 6th Gear indicator. Time will tell. I will call the service guys Tuesday and see if they can re-program to get them both back. If not I guess I will have a PCV for sale and switch to the TTS. Thanks Dawg, I will shoot you a PM and gladly pay the shipping for the tool.

My bike don't have cruise to begin with.

I got used to losing the 6th gear lite. No biggy at all (except for the first few weeks).

I do have a sert, and I can get the update - but haven't had the time or ambition to play with it. Low priority to me. Maybe this winter.

Thanks for the info. Ring Gear is on the way. Will do it with the SE comp probably next week. DAWG let me know what you want to ship that tool and I will paypal you some cash. I will worry about everything else after the install. I am just tired of this gearing. With the wind out here 6th gear is pretty much useless unless you want to lug and chug the motor.

Thanks again for all the info

You will like the new gearing.

It's a mild change, but a nice one. Stock gearing was just a lil too tall.
Better acceleration with not much loss on top.
6th gear much more usable.

Unfortunately, much of this post is gibberish to me, almost like you guys have a secret language.

Only question I have, is the Screamin Eagle compensator the same number of teeth as the stock Harley compensator? This would be for the 07 and later 96 inchers.
