SD memory card 2 GB for Palm TX, Mac

Hi,
I have a SanDisk 2 gb card. Works well so far. I have the entire US (lower 48) TomTom maps on it and a couple of videos.
Hope this helps...........Jimpala

Thank you both for your responses.
I decided to go with Kingston 50x 2 GB card, partially because I found a good deal on it and also I read good reviews.

There are only two or three actual manufactures of SD Cards: SanDisk, Toshiba and Panasonic for certain.

So when you get the card - check it via the Palm Card Info and there you'll see who actually made it.....I doubt that it will be Kensington.

Also, there was an old thread that on the SD side - white card was from Panasonic, light blue was from Toshiba and Dark Blue was SanDisk but that all changed and was found not to be 100% accurate a couple of years back.

You'll be able to tell when it's in the Palm......about 3 or 4 years ago you couldn't give me a SanDisk because they'd had some known issues with units made in Japan versus units made in Taiwan (or vice versa). They have seemed to clean up their act.

It really doesn't make much difference who's flavor is on the outside - what matters is on the inside. So check when you get it just for fun, I'm certain you won't be dissappointed.

I'm going to relate - I have 2 kingston cards, both are toshiba.

So i'm guessing.... Kingston = Toshiba?

On the front all i see is a KINGSTON sticker then on the back, ingraved in the plastic, is the model no. with TOSHIBA written there.
