Trouble is, the little brats have grown up in the video age. They seem to think that it is acceptable to behave in the cinema the same way that they behave at home watching a DVD.
Went to see Spiderman 2 yesterday, not too bad, but there were young children there that felt the need to narrate everytime something funny happened. There was a girl sat behind me, only short, but felt the need to kick the back of my chair every few minutes. The entire family were scoffing crisps that they obviously did not buy at the cinema, and the dad ended up choking. I nearly turned around and said "For *hirst sake! Get a drink of water or something".
The only reason we went to the cinema at all is because we had discounted tickets (to do with the Sports & Social at work).
Now that they are used up - no way am I bothering anymore with the cinema. Doesn't seem to matter what film you go to see or what time you go to see it. The only thing that is guaranteed is that there will always be some asshole/assholes there to annoy you. Before anyone flames me out - I actually sit there as quiet as a mouse the entire film. I like to get absorbed in it - but it is difficult with some t*at chomping in your ear or tapping their foot in the seat behind you or someone else 6 rows away chattering and wrongly thinking that sound does not carry in the auditorium!
No - I have had enough. Bit of a shame really, because I go with the sole purpose of watching the film. Don't know why half the other people in the auditorium bother to go. There must be loaRAB of ways to annoy other people rather than pay
