I am sure if other sites went down, it would be the same. It sucks that members lost SCT bottom line! Members have plenty of sites that are like sct content wise, not the same. I understand that it was a great site but sct has a lot of members, it was never a small and secret site, none are these days but have smaller user bases(going by what I read).Invites are not bought but earned, whole different concept on the sites I see being requested by former sct members.Why are members not content with PTM or IPT is my question? Those sites should be almost the same content,speed,security or not?

If we are talking about speed ,content and pretime it has its alternatives and for the community you can adapt yourself to any other community out there its not a big deal.... at least for me
If ScT wasn't secretive with 20000 members, then what is IPT with over 100000?

I will put it another way. Whats the difference? Anyone could have bought a invite and got in. Maybe IPT is not the example I was looking for, have no idea how many members it really has. Neither do i know if sct had 20,00 or 100,000 members. Are their not plenty of other sites that are similar content wise? Haven't other sites recruited sct members so they would have somewhere to dl from? What else should be done anon-sbi?

Some of the requests we have had have been exploitative of the fact that ScT went down. However, most of those requests were brutally shot down. It really isn't too hard to see who has been a semi-regular FST member and who only comes here when needed. There are also opportunists who find this an ideal time to collect another site or two. They are still pretty easy to spot.
The most odorous of the "refugees" are the ones with a sense of entitlement. "I was on ScT, therefore, I deserve to be on only "the most elite" trackers as a replacement." Fuck these pricks!
There are also those who found ScT and it covered all of their BT needs. They aren't pretentious, they are truly looking for a new foothold in the community. While I prefer to help those who are active here, there are those who found enough community on that site alone. They have been displaced and have been separated from their friends. That's always upsetting. I think some of these members do deserve our help.
