Screw you, auto insurance companies

Make sure you get lots of gauges.

Dirty Bird, your car is sexy as hell. If it were a woman, I'd totally put my cock in it's tailpipe (And by tailpipe I mean asshole).

I love the 80's and 60's Camaros. Some of my favorite cars.

Thanks man, I love 'em too! I was a kid when the 80s camaros were all over the place and always liked them a lot, so now that I'm older, I've discovered that tehse cars are DIRT cheap... (I bought it for $1500)

Insurance is not...

Here's some news for you:

Cars, and all the industries surrounding them, are meant entirely to make the poor poorer. Not to make your life easier. Period.

Edit: DirtyBird, nice Camaro! That's the V6, right? I grew up thinking that bodystyle was the coolest! I just recently (February) bought a forest green, 1994 Camaro. It's the newer body style though (it looks kind of like a rocketship), which I don't think was as cool.

I figure that the guys talking about riced-out cars will appreciate this.

Before that, though, I had a 1987 Camry, which I modified extensively. Here's the mod list (all installations done by yours truly):

Fake plastic spinner hubcaps
Flame decals on the hood
Cobra head chrome shift knob
Radioactive chrome badge on gas flap
Various pinstripe decals all around
Decals of dice, skulls, and flames all around
Sound system (4 Blaupunkt speakers x50 watts, two 15" subwoofers in trunk)

Modifications I got the car with when I bought it:
"Legally totaled" status at DMV
Smashed in right side (no working doors on that side)
Ejector seats
All mirrors broken
And more!

It died an extremely tragic death (it was drawn out, traumatic, and expensive) and is now a small cube.

Oh hell no, my RS is a 305 V8. Still not very quick, but it sounds damn good. ;)

I'm building a new motor for it as funds allow, will be built by mid-summer, just dont know if it wil lbe in the car by then. It's gonna be a 361 cubic inch V8, it's gonna haul ass. ;)

And yes, the third generation of camaro is the best looking of all time maybe after the 67-69's, maybe, but the thidgens will handle much, much better. Of course the looks thing is all my opinion, the handling thing, though...

85-92 IROC/Z28 Camaros were some of the best handling sports cars you could buy. The RS models didnt get the same suspension parts but tha's easily fixable. They're just too heavy (still lighter than 93-02 ones, and much lighter than new GTOs). Sure, Porsches and RX7's might outhandle 'em, but when you're comparing the handling of a car to a 944 or RX7, you're in good company. ;)

Oh, I didn't see any badging on it so I figured it was a V6.

My '94 is a V6 (I didn't buy it because it's a sports car, I bought it cause it was the cheapest car I could find, haha) but it hauls ass pretty well. It's a 3.4L and I haven't lost a race yet.

Badass that you're building a new engine. The IROCs would last about 200,000 miles before needing a new one.

Nice ride.
