Screenselect 2 For the Price of 1 Month

Has anyone received this offer. I am tempted to try them out after my Lovefilm subscription expires in the next few weeks.

What is their turnaround like?
 
Ive been with them since they merged with Video Island, and have found the service excellent, normally when I return a disk Monday I have a new one by wednesday morning, and their pretty good at suppling DVRAB high on my priority list
 
I've been with them about a month, fantastic turnover. Their way of managing your top titles could be better, but then again if i want a dvd that badly i'll just buy it.
 
Unfortunatly Screen Select are not very good as I was a previous subscriber to the service and found that they never send items from the top of the list and tend to send titles from the bottom up. Also their turn around is very slow as if I posted a disk back on a monday, they would recieve it on a Tuesday and acknowledge they recieved it, however they would not bother sending out a title till wed/thursday. TWO WHOLE DAYS.

I switched to Lovefilm and up till recently they were fantastic as they always sent out the first 3 discs of my list, even the latest blockbusters, something Screen Select failed to do.
 
At least Screenselect have the courtesy to inform you they received your DVD back.

Lovefilm keep quiet until you're practically about to report them missing.

Blockbuster is so far my fave but they never do any offers. I will always use Blockbuster for a regular bog standard 1 month service.

dont go with screen select, absolute tripe, Love Film once they get their act together with the recieving of DVD's will be the best of the lot.

I am with blockbuster as well at the moment and their service is superb, however they dont have as good as a selection as Lovefilm
 
Until recently, Screenselect were great.

I used to send a film back on a monday, get the email about 8:30 Tuesday that they had received it. They would dispach the same day and I'd get it on Wednesday.

Over the last couple of weeks they seem a little slower.

suspiciously often, if I send back 2 films at the same time, they receive one the next day and the other the following day. just seems odd for this to happen as much as it does.

Now if I send a film on monday, they receive on tuesday, but won't send a new one till Wednesday, so I won't get it till thursday.

Also note, they don't work saturday, so any film sent back on friday will not be looked at till monday.

I've had a few bad/scratched disks lately, quite annoying but to be expected as I usually go for older films.

One world of warning though, If you ever need to contact them by email then don't expect a reply within a week, they really are unbelievabley slow at responding to emails. Fortunatly I haven't had many urgent enquiries.

I'm with lovefilm currently, and have been for a month now. I used to be with dvRABontap, until they merged with someone else to create, Lovefilm. DvRABontap, were particularly poor at sending your most wanted discs. I've found this not to be the case with Lovefilm. I've had about 20 discs so far, and all of them have been in my top 5 each time.As for the distribution of these discs, well that is another matter.Recently discs have been taking ages to get back to them, twice now I've had to wait more than 3 days for discs to show up as returned, which is a little more than irritating.However, I don't let it bother me too much,as I am on a "2 months for the price of 1", offer too. If this run of late discs continues up until the offer enRAB, I'll move to blockbuster.
