are there any available screensavers for the nokia 6610 other than the default clock screensaver?

The Default Screen Saver for Nokia 6610 very Ugly...
i think Nokia should change the Screensaver to more nice animation like Disney Cartoon.

the official verdict is that you can't change the screen saver on the 6610. It is minging but your stuck with it. The 7210 can do pictures though. And i thought they were identical apart from the cases.

dam it ppl... if u r going to tell us 7210 can change screensaver... tell us how as well ^__^

how how how??? how to change 7210 screensaver!!

nokia 6610 can't play gif files as screensaver...u might try a nokia 3100...it can play gif files as screensaver...

The clock isn't all that bad,... but it doesn't have much colour at all...!!! Wouldn't it be better if they did add some colours to it

If they put colours on the clock it would defeat the purpose of a screen saver. That clock is a very efficient battery saver also, and if the put colors, then it's for sure that the battery would drain out every evening.

ehm marsden.. i dont think it is possible to change the screensaver on the nokia 7210.. but if so.. tell us how?

Yeah,... that was wad i was thinking,... but doesn't the 3100 screensaver work that way as well??

No, it isn't possible on either the 6610, 7210, 7250 or i. If you really want to change the screensaver then I guess you'll need to flash the 3100 firmware on your phone, but then you'll not have FM radio, infrared, and GPRS modem features.

That's exactly the reason why the 3100 does not have infra-red and GPRS modem capabilities, and even FM radio. Nokia wanted to cover up their doings but pretending to show us that it's got a lot of battery life. A 6610 running FM from full charge woould go around 20 hours(headset), while the 3100 may not have reached even 75% of that. By the way, can anyone confirm that in the 3100 the screensaver remains indefinitely, or after a certain period of time it reverts back to the clock?
