Scream on now Channel 4

I watched it for the first time last night, I hate scary films but I was intrigued to watch it! It was alright, didn't think it was a great film or a bad film. It was extremely predictable though who was going to survive etc.

I did shut my eyes a coupla times though!

How many more times are channel 4 going to show this?

I still laugh at the "you hit me with the phone!" bit near the end though.

I like that bit too.

I know what you mean about repeats, but it's confusing - I've lost count of these 'college kiRAB against psycho' (aka 'Scooby Doo on PCP') films, and each one seems to have a spoof version too, so I never know whether I've seen it or not until halfway through!

I still can't get over how fit Neve Campbell (Sidney) looked - I wonder if these past nine years been kind to her?

I never really got excited by Neve Campbell, she's one of those people I almost find attractive, but not quite.

I'd take Rose McGowan's 'Tatum' anyday. :)

She looks a lot better with brown hair though.

Scream is one of me fave horror films. At the time it came out it was just amazing as it was funny yet thrilling too. Matthew Lillard is great in the film..he's just so funny at the end but psychotic too. (Good looking too..as is 'Billy Loomis' lol)

I love scream... a pure funny, jumpy, silly slasher movie that doesnt take itself too seriously that is perfect to eat ice cream to

I believe Scream 2 is on next week :D I really like that one.

Someone mentioned channel 4 showing Scream again, when did they last show it, because its been a while since I last remember it being shown. (not counting last night of course :P)

I'm on my own here I suppose then - I reckon Scream's the best scary movie ever. It manages to take the horror movie conventions, completely dismiss them all, and yet still manage to be a scary movie in its own right. And a good twist at the end as well, which does add up. The other two are also worth watching, although they're not quite as immediate, and are really only for fans of the first.

Incidentally, the "you hit me with the phone" bit was apparently an ad-lib - he was actually genuinely hit with the phone after it slipped out the other guy's hand, but they kept 'in the moment', as it were.

Scream Movies are ace! I have all 3 on DVD, but i still like to see it every so often. Can't get over seeing stu spit and drool all the time yuck! was it in scary movie or not another teen movie you see them take the piss out of this?
