Scream 4

i dont believe scream 4, what could they possible do now. they killed the real killer. they have left woodborough or what ever it called (is that the correct spelling on that site?) so why would some one travel from woodborough to hollywood or where ever sydney will be just to kill her, what would their motive be. if scream 4 is getting made they seriously need a very good storyline to help it. i think the trilogy should stay a trilogy as much as i would like to see another but i cant see it furthering now.

There isn't going to be a Scream 4... there is no official news on a Scream 4 either. Craven and Campbell certainly would not do it anyway.

I don't care about how much a film grossed Elliot, doesn't always mean it's a great film... so all her films making less than the Scream films is nothing to me.

I just meant she is getting roles easily without needing to do another Scream movie.

Film companies never seem to know where to draw a line and stop making sequels of sequels (which are often sequels of prequels which prequel the sequel- I've confused myself  :D )

Thanks for your updates Skymangel but I posted both of those bits of news already in this thread. Recent reports have said that Neve Campbell will not be returning for scream 4 however that may change soon!

She's an "actress". A "star". She can't stand making films that no-one watches. She wants to be back in the public eye and on the red carpets. The only way to do that is to sell out and make a film purely for the money and the fame.

Scream 4 would be that film.

hmmm. There'll def be a Scary Movie 4, cas theres always more movies to rip the pi$$ out of, but as for another Scream??? one n two were excellent but 3 was pure sh*t, and if they were to kill Sydney I think it would be really sh*t!

I would love another scream film but feel that a fourth would (obviously) break the trilogy and then would probably lead to 5,6,7,8,9 etc and make a mockery of the entire classic series as has happened with Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Saddest of all, Halloween which had an outstanding first film but has been completely ruined by the sequels.. 3 is enough, maybe next year a 2-disc edition of the original could come out, that would be great but I have big reservations about another movie.
