SCREAM veteran Jamie Kennedy was on hand at the TCA's CBS afterparty to promote his new role on CBS's THE GHOST WHISPERER.


iF Magazine caught up with the funnyman to get an exclusive on the rumored fourth SCREAM movie. The Weinstein Company has been notoriously hush-hush so far on the project except to announce that they're planning to reboot the franchise.


Despite having having been killed off in the franchise, it seems as if Kennedy could still be involved.

They brought him back wonderfully in the third one, don't need him in the fourth one. So much for starting from scratch for the fourth one like they said...

Seriously though, i hope this doesn't come off, most people disliked Scream 3, so i doubt Scream 4 would be much of a box office draw. Besides, it would mess up my DVD collection having the 'Scream Trilogy' boxset and then 'Scream 4' bolstered on the end, lol.
 
Couldnt you have just put this on your other thread about Scream 4? Or are we going to have a new SCREAM 4 NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thread everytime somethings announced?
 
I was going to say the same thing, but obviously this board has never heard of merging...

I am one who liked Scream III. Still don't want a Scream 4 though.
 
Gawd knows. I kinda hoped for a wee period that Hollywood had learned its lesson after some of the diabolical sequels released in the 80s/early 90s, but then the age of 'remakes' set in, and then of course, we had the 'Saw' franchise. I've still not seen number 4. Should I bother?

EDIT : I expect they'll be dragging up 'I know what you did last summer' again in a few years.
 
They already did that last year lol with 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer' which was one of the most retarded films I ever did see, in the end it turns out:

Perhaps....he made ANOTHER video, because it didn't seem completely ridiculous the last time or anything...

Randy is one of the great horror movie characters and I used to be a big fan of JK before he got a bit odd, but it's good to see he's gone back to acting instead of comedy.

But they need to leave Scream alone.
 
This film has awful written all over it.

At least Wes Craven is involved. Surely he won't oversee the destruction of his fine trilogy, although he has seen his other franchises go to pot so he probably doesn't actually care.

I hope they don't ruin the trilogy, I love that trilogy, I always watch it at christmas (I don't really know why, I just do lol) I don't want a 4th one tainting the series.
