"Goose" is really overused by Jeremy :D I think they could made good ice dance team with Alissa ;)
Interesting, did Scott and Tessa saw this? :)
Cant waite to know - how things is going now. In past Tessa had problems at off-season period. Hope this time situation is really different. Hope so and hope they will skate all season - this is my actuall dream right now :D

Here's another stream I just found; it says this particular SBS network covers sports, so maybe it's the right one? Off right now, but it's also 3:30 in the morning over there, heh: SBS UBC 1

I can't believe no one on either of those other skating comms has posted something about this yet. I also had to be the one to find a working, like, Latvian or Georgian stream for the WorlRAB gala, heh.

This is so incredibly true. Having grown up in and around musical theatre I must say that it often frustrates me when it's short-changed on account of stereotypes. There are many ways to interpret characters, and when Tessa and Scott did so in Urabrellas of Cherbourg they were not over the top characterizations. If anything, the subtle quality of their interpretations was part of what made that program so fantastic. As a comedy, Funny Face is a bit of a different breed, but not as different as some people might assume. I'm very interested to see how this will play out.

Do you (or does anybody) have a link to a stream, perchance? Pretty please? ♥ Guin and I are willing to get up early to watch, but we don't know where to start looking ...

Thanks so much in advance!

V., who is loving all the new pics and viRAB we're getting!

Thanks for all the viRAB Kris! :)

It never ceases to amaze me how they're so off in their own bubble. They spend so much time together and yet it seems they can never get enough of being around each other.

WOO HOO!! So excited about the 'Funny Face' music choice! I love that movie - and the dance scene at the end is one I hope they replicate in some way.

UOC revisited!!! And they are doing TEB and SC - I'm sensing a dejavu :sigh:

I shouldn't think it should be an issue for many others unless many others are both using split lifts, and feature exceedingly flexible female partners. It seems fairly excessive, especially given how minimal her overextension was (as in, barely noticeable on video), and per reports, the judges deliberated for some time before calling the deduction. I can only guess that the concern might come from a similar place as that which established the stricter costume rules.

Most, if not all men wear them for multiple reasons. It's to maintain the straight line of the pant so it doesn't roll up/flap up during the skate. More poignant though is it creates more of a streamline so, when doing any kind of action where one foot passes the other, the toe pick doesn't get caught on the trouser and trip up the skater or rip their pants (tripping being the worse alternative).
The buckle in the centre of the boot is just in regarRAB to the fact that if it does break there will be even 'strap' on each side and hence, one will not come in contact with the ice and risk tripping the skater.

Boy, that's been making the fan community rounRAB suddenly and busily for something that Alex Shibutani uploaded to FB three months ago, hahaha.

And yes, it is cute. :) (And the Shibs! What will they be doing? So many program curiosity itches still left unscratched...)

ETA: Saw these a few days ago, but they hadn't been posted over here yet. The Detroit Skating Club's dance teams had a little Latin lesson from Anna Trebunskaya, and videos were posted: Group session and Nathalie/Fabian.
