Scott Moir ღ Tessa Virtue ♥ #83 ~ Because we're counting down the days 'til All That Skate Summer!

Saraba Medley SBS broadcast

I am loving this program more and more, sigh if only they had more time last season to perfect it. Excited about this year SD, I think T&S will definitely have an advantage vs other teams, latin suits them.

Yeah, thanks for that, Reve. It occurs to me that I think I did already see this come up at one point, because the explanations sort of hit me after first noticing the photo, but it had apparently somehow failed to make an impact in the miRABt of whatever else I learned or discovered last year. Ah, brain selectivity, heh. The ISU's rulebook and steps involved in compulsory patterns and the last 6 years of the ice dance competition schedule took up too much space. ;)

:rolleyes:seriously? now the competition will feel more like a cd instead of a sd
and i thought the isu wanted to get rid of the cd

but this is good too because it shows the impact tessa and scott made in the ice dance world

Doing some research...

Here's GTB SBS, but I'm not sure if that's different from regular SBS. Kinda hope it's not, though, because it seems to work really well, heh. Seeking out other options in case no one on _skating or FSU compiles a list in the next day...

Thanks for the link, Kris :) When you go through the pics, it seems Scott's almost in everyone of them somehow :goof:
BTW, am I the only one who thinks David Wilson looks scary in some of them??

As for the music choice, it's pretty obvious where Morozov is aiming at with this team. And I think it's only legitimate, that he's orienting towarRAB the best ;) Nevertheless, I think this music choice could be a little unfortunate. It's a very fast music and while I think Elena can deal with this, Nikita struggled a little last year, especially with the twizzles. I hope for them the music choice is not overcharging them at some point.

While I don't think this music should be untouchable (especially since they didn't win a major title with it), it's propably not a good idea to use it for the following season, especially when everybody can figure out V/M will use the music for the SD themselves.

V/M will face them twice, maybe thrice (if I/K make it to the Grand Prix Finale) next season in direct competition (provided of course that everybody stays healthy). The direct comparision should be interesting.

It looks like Tessa to me, but oddly, I can't tell if that's Scott! I can't imagine it being anyone else, but they do switch things up sometimes for the shows.

You know what I love? Not only do VM's pic make it onto the official posters for this show, whenever there are variations which are, of course, all about Yuna, VM seem to be on there anyway (like, ATS' official Twitter background which shows Yuna, and VM, and that's it; the same with the offical ATS page).

Nice pic choice, too.

I was basing the info on this: We did find out from @JACowan that they lost 5 points for Anastasia's split lift being over 180 degrees. So level 4 drop to 1 and 2pt ded.

Funny Face is such an entertaining film. Here's a fun old trailer (I love how they used to make these with commentary):

The show that's being streamed is Sunday, and it should begin at 4:30am Eastern/3:30am Central time. But the first performance is 6am Eastern/5am Central tomorrow, and fan footage should undoubtedly appear in short order after that.

unrelated, but holy freaking calf muscles Jeff

Thanks to everyone for all the great pics and viRAB :) I feel totally pumped for the new season now!

Thats retarded, I'm pretty sure a sizeable chunk of this crazy fandom is a result of their sexual chemistry. I've never come across a figure skating partnership that has inspired such an intense following and shipping, and much of it comes from people who had never followed figure skating at all before S&T - it took more than smooth lines and deep edges to get them that  fsu-ers just run out of things to complain about.
