Okay, great :D!

I want everyone to be involved in this OP, so I'm also thinking doing a short excerpt on each season. I'm thinking one person per season?

2003-2004 (Tutti Frutti, Russian Medley)
2004-2005 (Call me Irresponsible, Adios Nonino)
2005-2006 (Beautiful Maria, Malaguena)
2006-2007 (Assassination Tango, Valse Triste)
2007-2008 (Dark Eyes, Umbrellas of Cherbourg)
2008-2009 (Charleston, Great Gig)
2009-2010 (Farrucas, Symphony No. 5)

When I woke up that morning, I had no idea I was gonna be be meeting my inspirations! If they would have taken that last glide, I wouldn't have needed to go back to try to high-five them again. If the section wasn't full, I would have ran in there, got the high-five, and never have seen the sign. Everything happens for a reason ;) I honetly and truly believe that there was someone looking over me that day, becasue as well at the grand-stand show, they had a whole tribute to the Olympics. Since they were there, guess who the main focus was :sigh:

And they hugged afterwords, and before we were let into the first meet and greet. When I was in line, I had this perfect little view through the rip on the screen. And the line-up went behind them, so you could look behind them, and under the table. Thats when I saw him squeeze her hand, and once, rest a hand on her thigh. But that was brief. I doubt Tessa was upset, because she was all giggles all the time! Like I said, they have a way through communication through their eye's, and I have a feeling that they were doing that the entire time.

And I know it was adorable! Oh my goodness my heart was pounding so hard in my chest that I swear the person 3 people ahead could not only here it... but feel it... live it!

I love how the people here don't roll their eye's when I tell you this... or do you? haha JK Thanks... :)

P.S. I am trying to make it to 101 posts so I can get my avatar. I may be on a lot until then... just sayin =D

The hand placement is just :love: freaking awesome in that picture. I love it so.
 
You're probably right, certainly about Tessa. Scott's free-leg and back posture wasn't nearly as good as it is now. However, in a Tango, it's hard to show aggression or a commanding presence on the ice without squarish shoulders nor any muscle on your limbs.

3 years later, with broader shoulders and bigger quads, it's now easier for him to show his command in the Tango.

I know what you mean, SoccerandSkate- I just met Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya this past Friday, same thing. Short visit, but I got to talk to them and now they know my name and how much I adore them!! It's an amazing feeling, isn't it? Now, my goal is to meet Tessa and Scott! How, I don't know :lol:
 
Scott will be delighted and frankly relieved to hear this.

You know, I prefer the blue dress for her, but I'm not certain if I favor the blue or brown shirt for him in terms of overall program aesthetics. Blue is a better color on him personally (but it's a lovely color for just about anyone, isn't it?), and with that there's a bit of a matching effect between the two even with very different shades of the color, but the brown offers a complementary contrast to hers which I rather like as well.

Uh, sorry for the costume ramble. Heh.

ETA: Oh, recalling that giant tango picture from the other day -- here's a performance of it I particularly enjoy, primarily for the pre-dance and K&C moments. Very sweet, and already eerily reminiscent of present-day Tessa and Scott. Watching this and so many other juniors performances (between both the quality of their skating in general and Tessa's expression, which she had nailed from an early age -- Scott's development on that end was more gradual and didn't come quite as naturally -- and their behavior towards each other and with the media [think of that 2001 interview in which they sound like miniature adults]), it's pretty clear that these two were never really young.
