Totally agree with you. It really shows in the frame as well. There needs to be a great carriage for the leader in passionate dances like tango and with maturity and experience they will progressively get better. I would love to see them dance this same CD pattern in a few years :)

I do have thoughts on that gorgeous tango you posted, however.

First and foremost- holy bronzer, Batman! Scott, hun, put down the makeup brush and nance away slowly.

She looks stunning in that dress. My God, is she really only 15 there? Blows my mind. She's got such a commanding presence on the ice, she demands your attention and you can't take your eyes off her. Wow.

I love that they clearly had to be creative with lifts back then- he didn't have much of an advantage over her, either in height or weight at that point. It's kinda awesome seeing how they worked around that, and still came up with some pretty spectacular-looking lifts.

The announcer voice referred to them as "the kids"- and that made me wonder, can anyone remember just when we started referring to them as "kids"? I was just thinking how that was an odd endearment that pretty unanimously picked up.
 
Ahem. That program, though not one of my faves, amuses me greatly. They practically rip each others clothes off :lol: and it amuses me greatly that they turned a BLUES COMPULSORY into a opportunity to do that
