Life sucks, but not for me. It sucks for the bitch that just tried to screw up my plans tomorrow, and my receptionist's 3-day weekend.
The bitch in accounting seems nice at first, but you gotta be careful. She's like a sleeping snake, you can't trust her from one moment to the next. Today she tried to screw up my plans to go out after work tomorrow with my receptionist. You see, recently at work, the bosses decided to cut back on costs by forcing everybody in the office into 32 hour work weeks. What they didn't really claify was how we were supposed to make that work during a 5-day work week. My receptionist and I (we've gotten to be friends lately, and I really enjoy her company) decided to take Fridays off. This was ok'd by both of our bosses.
Well this morning, the bitch from accounting told my receptionist that she was to stay home Thursday (tomorrow) and come in Friday instead. This bitch also had the nerve to tell me that I should cover the phones tomorrow, since she dismissed my receptionist. WTF? After some careful planning, I devised a way to throw that bitch under the bus. Since I carpool to work with the Sr. Executive VP of the company, I had to alter our plans for carpooling tomorrow due to my after work plans. I figured out that by telling her the truth, that I'd be able to participate in the carpool because I didn't have plans tomorrow, that she'd ask why. She's very friendly with me too, in a grandmotherly way, not a friend way. When I put this plan into action, she took the bait and asked what happened with my plans tomorrow.
Needless to say, the bitch in accounting didn't run any of the scheduling changes by the Executive VP, so she was kind of pissed off about not being in the loop. Minutes later, Ex. VP tells receptionist that Bitch is smoking drugs, and the reception schedule will be Monday through Thursday this week, as well as all following weeks. So, in short, my receptionist and I are still on for mojitos after work tomorrow to celebrate the early weekend.
I just love the fact that I got to throw a wrench in the bitch's plans by just communicating with my carpool buddy.
