Is there anyone out there who just recently had a complete fusion for Scoliosis, except for the L4-5, S1 area? I would really like to talk to someone that's been through the same thing. I had my surgery on the 5th of Apr 2010. I'm in Rehab twice a week. My curve was 61 degrees to the left side. In the beginning right after the surgery the muscle spasms were killing me until the doctors changed some of my meRAB. I'm looking for ann Adult Scoliosis Support Group, if anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm 18 years old and had spinal fusion for scoliosis about two years ago, fused T5 to L3. I had a 50 degree thoracolurabar curve. Hope your recovery is going well so far and you're not in too much pain! :)
 
Hey thanks for the support. Have you fully recovered from your surgery and can do everything that you were able to before you had your surgery?
My left side is fine, but as I probably said not sure my right side is still shocking/stinging me in a couple of areas that sometimes just make me cry.
Sometimes I just don't know what to do. I was thinking alot today that I'm not ready to go back to work yet. I'm still on alot of drugs, I haven't drove yet, I'm still in Rehab, and now that this stuff is happening on my right side, I just don't think I could handle it. I will talk to my doctors again on the 9th of July when I see them again.

Is there anyone in the Central Texas Area that has recently had Scoliosis Surgery? I just had a 61 degree curve corrected, etc on the 5th of Apr 10. I just would like to chat with someone in the same situation.
