1) Which muscle will make the arm straighten?
2) Which muscle will make it bend more?
3) Why are there two sets of muscles working at this joint?
 
1) The Extensor makes the arm straighten.
2) The Flexor makes the arm bend.
3) The muscles work in antagonistic pairs.

All I know is that they are working in antagonistic pairs. This means that they are doing opposite jobs to complete one task. When one relaxes the other one tenses, to straighten or relax the arm.
