1.What do you think would happen if waste products could not leave the cell?
2. Put one of these with the descriptions.
Cytoplasm, cell membrane, nucleus, cell wall, chloroplasts

______________________ a relatively rigid layer of cellulose which supports plant cells and gives them shape

______________________organelle found in the cytoplasm of plant cells; contain chlorophyll which is required for the process of photosynthesis

______________________a transparent, jelly-like material that fills the interior of the cell. Numerous chemical reactions occur in this part of the cell

_____________________ a very thin, flexible layer which forms the outer boundary of the cytoplasm. This layer controls the movement of substances between the cell and its surroundings

_____________________spherically shaped structures which contains the DNA responsible for giving the cell instructions for living

and how are plant cells different from animal cells?
thanks again everyone for helping (:

1. They would accumulate and poison the cell by inhibiting enzymes etc. The cell would eventually die.

2. (in order) cell wall, chloroplasts, cytoplasm, cell membrane, nucleus

3. Animal cells do not have cell wall, chloroplasts or vacuoles (storage structures) whereas plant cells generally do.
