Has anyone tried "lose the back pain" system? Please let me know your results, I am desperate. I am in terrible sciatica pain!

I haven't heard of it either and I was in pain for a long time and looked into everything

I have looked at their information. It's a system designed by a massage therapist and a personal trainer to use specific muscle stretches to fit your personal body mechanics. They have a procedure shown on a video and with other instructions that you self-diagnose and self-treat your own unique situation. I think that it might work for some people. I know that my muscles tighten up and cause more pain than just the bulging discs. When I stretch the piriformis muscle, I have some relief. I have considered purchasing it, but have not yet.

hey everyone....I did try lose the back pain...... I returned it ...i do believe it works but I was not even close enough to start this ....I hurt waay to bad to deal with any more pain from stretching.. I just couldn't afford to keep it until I could use it. they also have what was call Nerve Support Formula...has any one had had luck with it......

I have bulging discs at L4 L5 and stenosis caused by a ligament, but the reports all say mild. However, I have pain that increases if I sit very much. Sometimes the pain goes down the back of my butt and if I am in the car for any length of time, it goes all the way to my ankle. When I wake up in the morning, my back is so tight and stiff, and if I do the piriformis stretch, I can gradually loosen it up and the pain eases some. I also think that my pelvis is crooked and one leg shorter by about 1/4 inch and things are just out of alignment. I think my muscles cause most of my pain.

I was also DX w/ sciatica years ago. The way I was explained about it was that my muscles are squeezing the nerves causing a pinch nerve feeling. I was never really told much about it.

Hi all......

I am now post op about 3 months from a lurabar fusion on account of bad disc. I also suffer from sciatic nerve issues called S1 radiculopathy. It actually happened AFTER my fusion surgery. I was put on a high dose of Lyrica and helps me tremendously. I did make a stupid move by trying to get off of it too soon and the pain was back again. I am now back on lyrica and am starting to feel relief. It was so bad at 1 point I was re-admitted into the hospital. It is very important to do the exercises too. It does and will help. So, my opinion, is to do all the strengthening exercises and try to get a nerve pain medication. It does take a while to get in your system to help....but it will help if a person is patient enough to wait it out. Many people will quit taking it before it has a chance to work. There is side effects but what I have found....after a while....they go away a good bit.Hope this helps some. It is a terrible pain to live with. When my back first started giving me real bad troubles....I had a MRI and I did have a slight nerve impingement. Surgery caused the nerve irritation. Good luck....

Hi - I can't find a post where you answered the question: "what caused your sciatica". Also you haven't said what you have done about the pain so far.
Have you seen an orthopedist? If the sciatica is from a recent injury, then it could heal by itself in time. How long have you had the pain? My sciatica was caused by my twisting my back. An MRI revealed that I also had degenerative disc disease, a slipped disc, and a few other things. Nothing I tried would get rid of the pain, so I had an epidural injection, which cured it after three injections. The injection took away the sciatic nerve pain so that the injury could heal.Time did the rest. PT didn't help. Of course, sciatica is caused by many things; so first you must find out what is causing yours. I have never trusted things like "stop the pain", etc. mabent:)

Hi....which stretch works best for you....and do you know the difference between sciatica and neuropathy????? I have been trying to get it explained....thanks..lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllusps

Hey, sorry it took a little to get back. I had surgery L5 S1. From the moment I woke up I have been in terrible pain. It has been 2 and 1/2 years since my surgery....really...I have had every p/t that could be had. ...water therapy since I can't weight bear on my right foot without total HE-- !!!! I have been to neurologists . Accupunture...neurosurgeons.. "Lose the back pain" and any other health store remedy I can come up with. I currently am taking the highest dose of neurontin, which has made me gain 40 lbs. Also Percocet 5 times a day...and even ativan, small dose when I am about to jump out of my skin... does this sound like sciatica or neouropathy when nothing really hurts now but my right foot. Also, I just had a spinal cord stimulator. ' ] ]

Hi am am 27 and suffered from sciatica for 2 years before having the disc cut away from the nerve(past sept). The surgery did help now it is about half way down my leg and is receeding! But the muscles are still pinching it now. But I just had two epidurals (i had 4 before surger and no relief) and now they are finally helping the nerve more! I also take a high dose of lyrica like others who have posted and that helps some too. I still have two more discs to go but hopefully back to work PT in a week after a whole year out! Best of luck
