school vs military ups and downs?

i want to have a good job i dont know if i should join the army and go to be a military police and be a cop when i get out or do army part time like the reserves (national gaurd) and go to school to be a cop i want to do like drug busts and stuff

whats the best choice? and why?
 
being military police isn't what its cracked up to be. your hands are tied for the most part and its not like what you see on the show cops.
 
Both.

You can either:
A. Join active duty and get a degree online
or
B. Go to college and join the reserves (in what ever branch) or the National Guard

I went with B... but i regret it. I was bored at college and wish I just went right to active duty but I'm stuck in the Army Reserves for a while
 
I would reccomend active duty. If you are an MP you don't need schooling to be a civillian cop. Plus people with government experience are higher priority than others.
